Our mission is to unite concerned parents, active community groups and proven technology to help families raise their children in a drug-free home environment. Our primary goal is to provide no-cost assistance for all families without regard to race, religion, nationality or socioeconomic status to keep their homes free of illegal drug activity. Our secondary goal is to provide detection technology & services to schools, treatment facilities, EAPs, clinics, social services and non-profit organizations.

NEWARK PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR PARENT/STUDENT PROGRAM
Foundation to Provide Non-Invasive Drug Detection Technology & Training
To School Safety Officers, Social Workers & Parents in 13 High Schools
Newark, New Jersey-- The Newark Public High School System and The Drug Free Home Foundation have signed an agreement to train & provide concerned parents with the tools and technology to uncover illegal drug usage in their homes. The Newark Public School System is one of the nation’s largest inner-city educational programs and includes 40,000+ students from grades 1-12. This program will be rolled-out through the system’s 13 high schools.
The Drug Free Home Foundation will train designated school safety officers and social workers who, in turn, will provide concerned parents with non-invasive, substance abuse detection technology - fast result swipes - that quickly and efficiently tests surfaces and areas for the presence of drugs and alcohol in their homes. This technology, supplied by Mistral Security, Inc., a Bethesda, Maryland company, has been used throughout the United States in 40+ schools and by local law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, DEA, US Customs and US Marshall Service.
The Newark Public School System has previously tested a small sample pilot model and will use that experience in building the parameters for this program. Details for this program are now being finalized.
